Snoopy with an Apple

This is the early Snoopy with an apple on his head from the Peanuts comic strip of good ol' Charlie Brown. This looks a bit different from the other Snoopy sketch I uploaded because, Snoopy underwent a LOT of design changes over the ages.
We need another Charles M. Schulz because the world is in a pretty bad shape today, and I can't stand it. I just can't stand it!
I drew this the other day. I made the original PNG file available for download if you want to examine my inking up close. There's good detail captured in the scanning process. No photoshop is involved in the process. I used gimp to adjust the white point and crop the image and removed parts of other sketches that gets scanned along, That's all. I did not even clean up the pencil sketch on this thing. I think it adds to the natural feel of the ink.
