Snoopy

This is the early Snoopy from the Peanuts comic strip of good ol' Charlie Brown.

I miss Charles M. Schulz because the world, in the state we are today, need the comfort of our safety blankets found in his Peanuts strip.

I drew this the other day. I made the original PNG file available for download if you want to examine my inking up close. There's good detail captured in the scanning process. No photoshop is involved in the process. I used gimp to adjust the white point and crop the image and removed parts of other sketches that gets scanned along, That's all. I did not even clean up the pencil sketch on this thing. I think it adds to the natural feel of the ink.
